Year 3/4 BISI badminton festival

On Thursday 14th January Years 3 and 4 took part in the BISI badminton festival in the new sports hall at Radcliffe School, Wolverton. The children played really well, were fantastic representatives of the school and thoroughly enjoyed all of the mini skills activities. Have a look at some photographs of them taking part:

School Council Election Results

This afternoon we announced the winners of the school council elections in a special assembly hosted by the mayor.  All the children that took part were an absolute credit to themselves and we know that for those children not elected there will be lots of other opportunities for them to use their talents to contribute to life at the school. Well done to those that were elected, we are looking forward to working with you!

Trip to flag fen

flag fen

On monday 27th of april year3 went to flag fen.on that day we learnt about the stone age-iron age, what they did and why.in the stone age there axes where made of flint and where by hand (not on a stick) for chopping down trees but in the bronze age where axes were made of bronze and on a stick (same with the iron age just with iron instead of bronze). there houses are roundhouses
instead of rectangle or square.
