About my cats

I have 2 cats one named Bubba and one named Henrick. Bubba is a girl, Henrick is a boy. I am going to talk about Bubba. She is a sweet little cat but is a bit poorly. She has a poorly back and when she walks she wobbles, she is also quite fragile. This weekend she got ill and we had been told that we were not to stroke her. For me that is hard because she always sleeps on my bed and when i get sad i always go to stroke her. On Monday the medicine for both the cats came and we gave it to them but they did not like it. After the medicine Henrick was fine but Bubba was a bit scared we would have to give her more. This made me feel bad so I wasn’t there for it. Then for another few days we were not allowed to stroke her and we had to look after her a lot . But now she seems fine and happy. She is very special and precious to me so hopefully she will get better soon. Now I will talk about Henrick. Like I said, he is a boy. He is a lot more fearless. He is a little bit moody and if he doesn’t  like what you are doing or how you touch his paws, he will scratch you. He likes to play fight with Bubba and when I am trying to get to sleep I can hear them coming up the stairs whilst fighting and Bubba will run into my room. He mostly lies around all day and he is always in the sun, behind the curtain or on my parents bed. He loves being stroked and loves attention but Bubba can get jealous.

Scouting camp at home

I took part in the scouting camp at home.  It was trying to break a record ( the largest number of people camping at one time) and it took place on the 30th April 2020.  It broke the record for the most people camping in one place, at a time in the world.

I slept in a tent in our living room due to the rain, thunder and lightening that day. Myself and my 6-year old brother, Albert (who is in beavers) and me who is a cub really enjoyed the camp at home.  We told each other stories, had s’mores made in the kitchen.  Mum, dad and my sister Betsie enjoyed the s’mores too. I also read a story to my brother and he read to me half of the book Chicken Licken.  We talked about fun facts and trivia.

We slept in sleeping bags, mine was green and Alberts was red.

My brother says “i enjoyed it a lot and it was very fun”

Off on my Bike Ride

I have a red and black bike, I enjoy going on a cycle ride with my Mum and Dad after I have finished  school, We take snacks and water as It can be very warm. I go through the village park and head out onto the track behind the park which takes us to the fields. We cycle through the fields where we see a Tractor spraying his crops. We stop half way round and sit under a tree for shade where we can have our snacks and cold water. We can hear the birds singing and we watch the farmer working away in his fields. After we have rested we continue our cycle ride back through the fields and past the cemetery before heading home again for an ice cream .This is about 3 miles which I try to do everyday so we can spend time outside and enjoy time as a family.

My week

This week I have been at school because my Mum is a key-worker and my Dad had to go back to work.I am making sure that I am staying in touch with my family sometimes I video call them or just call them because I really miss them.I keep in touch with my friends and video call them and sometimes I send letters to them.My Mum has liked a page on Facebook and they arrange for people to sent letters and pictures to care homes all over the country. I have sent a letter to one of the residents at Bloomfield in Olney and I have also sent a letter to a care home in Northampton. At school this week I have been doing my work but we have allot of free time witch is where you can play board games, colour, watch a film and make stuff.I have made allot of friends a few of them are from Infant Academy and one is from preschool and she plays with me every day.Every morning at school I have been doing Joe Wicks I enjoy it.When I get home if it is sunny I will play in my garden but if it is raining I will play In my room with my brother Archie.I have my dinner after 17:00 because my Dad gets home at 17:15.Some nights I read at the moment I am reading The Explorer by Catherine Randell but at the weekend I am looking forward to getting the new David Williams book called Slime. If it is nice I will go on a family walk all around Barn field which is a big country side in Olney or I just go all around Olney.

What happened to me on the weekend…

On Saturday, my LED Lights arrived, if you don’t know what they are, they are lights that you can make any colour you like on the controls and you can light up your room with them. Some controls are used for certain things like if you are on snapchat, most people use the colour yellow (idk why)or say you are watching a movie most people put on a dark red (I also still don’t know why). They are vey nice and I would recommend them to you since they are durable, have a 5 star rating, look nice and you can do so much with them! Like on my one, it has 44 buttons all making your room look nicer.

Emily’s blog post about a dog called Annie.

Hi,my name is Emily and next Saturday me and my family are going to get a cute little dog ,and that’s a first for me.I am definitely mixed emotions especially exited and nervous because i have never owned a dog!

Me and my family have decided that ,the dogs name is going to be called Annie .She is black ,white and a really light brown. But unfortunately we can’t move house yet because of Coronavirus with Annie but we can live with it.

I hope you have a good time and be safe by.

Helpful hints for quarantine

Here are some ideas that could help you get through this hard time during quarantine.

Be creative
Paint some pictures, do some drawing or water colours, and give them to people you love.

Make something meaningful for your friends and hand deliver it to them, don’t forget keep a safe distance.

You could write a short story and add illustrations to make the story easier to follow and more colourful.

Set yourself a goal and try and achieve it before quarantine ends, if you can’t think of
anything you could start off small like neater hand writing.

Family time
If you have a big enough garden and a tent you could camp outside, with your mum, dad or siblings, or make a den in the house.

If it’s not raining and the sun is out you could watch a movie outside, don’t forget the snacks!

Play some fun board games with your family, be competitive with them and have a good laugh.

Food
If you have the ingredients, you might be able to do some baking, you could make cookies, cupcakes or even muffins.

Get active
Try and learn a dance, you could make it an exercise video and do it everyday for some physical activity.

BONUS! play some music and dance crazily to it.

I hope you have enjoyed all of these, try and do as many as you can.

Tablet time

At  the end of the day, if I was good, I would be allowed tablet time

Tablet time is a part of my day, when I would be allowed to go on any electronics in the house for about 30 – 45 mins

Tablet time is a reward if you have done all of your chores, been nice and had a good time at school.

Tablet  time is  my favourite time of the day, because you can play any game you want ( That’s if you have it or can have it on your device )and you can even do multiplayer with your family.        It brightens up your tomorrow.

However it  can also make you grumpy for the rest of the day, If you have too much

Tablet time is normally between 4:30 – 6:30. Tablet time has to end before 2 hours to bed.
